December on the beach

It was on the begining of december. Much wind rolling the waves, giving a color and a smoky shape to the clouds. I like to feel the wind blowing the salted smell in my face. In front of the beach, the town fade to a shadow .... I want to leave it in a boat, crossing the Atlantic, to reach the hot water of Caraibes and to stay in an other harbour for a while.

The town viewed from the beach

Beautiful colours! Lovely composition, and subject.

I like the effect in the second photo. It looks like a painting. The texture in the waves is lovely and the sailboats charming.

I have a small ritual when spending time at the sea: first I'd run around like crazy, pretending to be a plane, then I'd stop, spread my arms, close my eyes and listen...

See, when I look at those photographs, it's like I'm almost there. Thanks!
