The MacVal is a new museum near Paris. "Mac" means Museum of contemporary arts. And "Val" for Val de Marne (area).
The paintings and sculptures are made by young artists.

In this museum, many old animals (from the Prehistory to the 19th century). Many disapeared animals. The buildind is very beautiful (outside and inside).

It is a Sophora, which was planted in 1747 by Bernard de Jussieu. Seeds coming from China.

It was somewhere in the center of France. This is the gardens of Eyrignac. I arrived in this place by chance. I was moved to see that this was carried out by one impassioned. For 40 years, he has worked to create and improve its garden "à la française". All is made of range of greens. The trees and the shrubs are cut to give geometrical constructions like alive sculptures.

2 kilometres (1.5 miles) of ramparts that surround the walled town, from the Saint-Vincent Gate to the Saint-Thomas Gate.
I sailed 2 days with friends around the bay in september. Very nice.

I came several times to Italy and, each time I am filled with wonder by the landscapes. Here, it is the Arno river which crosses the town of Florence. With far away, the green on the hills... Some brought back photos of Alsace (area of the east of France). It was in November. A soft weather, the clear horizon. A little effort to arrive in top of the mountain and to discover the castle. It was built in the Middle Ages and was restored at the beginning of the 20th century.

In Paris, a place has been destroyed to create a new area (near Bibliotheque Mitterrand). Nothing which was before will stay. Howewer, some people tried to keep a few beautiful building. This one (industrial) will become the future Architecture School of Paris.

The "Grand Palais" (great palace) was built in 1900 for the "Exposition Universelle". It is built of glass and metal. Usually, we find there exposistions of painting. The renovation work of the canopy is finished. While waiting for reopening, Paris had the idea to install a fun fair there : the large wheel goes up until the top of the canopy.

It was on the begining of december. Much wind rolling the waves, giving a color and a smoky shape to the clouds. I like to feel the wind blowing the salted smell in my face. Do u know what is a "bridge-canal" ? This is a canal which pass over a river. Like a bridge, but the "bridge" is deep and filled of water.
